AbstractIt aims at discussing the subtitling triangle which includes the audience, the author, the audiovisual material, and the text. Subtitlers need to be aware of the elements that affect the subtitling process, not only the technical restraints (time and space on screen) but also matters related to the image, sound and text - all these three are to be considered too.
