Social Media Influencers’ Impact on Demand Forecasting: A Case Study in the Saudi Cosmetics IndustryThis study examines the impact of Social Media influencers on demand forecasting in the Saudi cosmetics industry. Influencers have become an essential part of today’s marketing landscape, as they can shape consumer’s perceptions, drive engagement, and enhance brand visibility through authentic connections with their audience. Their impact extends beyond traditional advertising methods, enabling brands to reach target demographics more effectively and fostering consumer trust and loyalty. I analyzed how influencer marketing strategies impact product demand and consumer purchasing decisions within the Saudi cosmetics industry through a case study approach. I applied qualitative and quantitative methods, including surveys and sales data analysis to assess these influencer campaigns' effectiveness. The findings imply a significant correlation between influencer engagement and increased demand for cosmetic products, underscoring the critical role of social media presence in modern marketing strategies. This research contributes to understanding demand forecasting by integrating social media dynamics and provides valuable insights for industry stakeholders. By examining the intersection of influencer marketing and consumer behavior, I aim to offer recommendations to help brands optimize their marketing efforts and adapt to the rapidly evolving digital landscape.

A MULTI-METHOD APPROACH: EVALUATING FORECASTING TECHNIQUES FOR ATTENDANCE AT THE 2034 FIFA WORLD CUPThe FIFA World Cup is a significant sporting event that attracts millions of fans worldwide and promotes international friendship. It is essential for host countries to make precise predictions about the expected number of spectators for the 2034 World Cup to enhance preparation and ensure a positive experience for both fans and athletes. The study aims to provide accurate forecasts of attendance turnout at the FIFA World Cup, highlighting various factors that can impact attendance figures. Historical attendance data from the official FIFA website was used, and two weighted moving averages were applied to predict attendance for the 2030 and 2026 World Cups. This study also aims to enhance sports event management by creating a thorough model for predicting fan attendance, such as Bias (BIAS) and Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD) metrics. The study uses prediction models based on past data to forecast occurrences, considering both inputs and outcomes. The accuracy of these models depends on the quality and accessibility of data, the selection of appropriate models, and the validation procedures employed. The outcome helps to ensure that the host country, organizers, and other relevant parties have the necessary arrangements in place to host many international guests and contribute to the World Cup's overall success and legacy.

Examining the Impact of Supply Chain Management Practices on Supply Chain Flexibility During the Covid-19 Pandemic with Supply Chain Risk Management Culture as a ModeratorThe Covid-19 pandemic has affected supply chains around the world, it has tested the true resilience of businesses in every sector. Emerging economies are not as developed in supply chain management as developed economies and the pandemic severely affected numerous economic sectors resulting in devastating economic performance. This research focuses on examining how the regular supply chain management practices (SCMPs) have impacted the supply chain flexibility with supply chain risk management culture as a moderating variable during the pandemic. This study was conducted through an online based questionnaire. Data were collected from 283 manufacturing companies that presented different industrial sectors in Egypt. The data was analysed using partial least squares technique. The results indicated that strategic supplier partnership, customer relationship practices and information sharing are the three SCMPs which positively affect supply chain flexibility. Moreover, the supply chain risk management culture positively moderated the impact of strategic supplier partnership, customer relationship practices and information sharing on supply chain flexibility.

A study on engaging employees in adopting green logistics practices: the case of logistics service providers in EgyptProviding green logistics services became a major marketing tool for logistics service providers (LSPs) to become recognised members of global and sustainable supply chains. In the Middle East and specifically in Egypt, the adoption of green practices is still in its infancy. And according to previous research such as in Elbarky and Elzarka (2015) and Elnakib and Elzarka (2014), organisation culture and employees' engagement are essential for the adoption of new green supply chain practices. Therefore, this research would investigate the role of employees' engagement in logistics service providers in Egypt towards adopting green logistics practices. This research is conducted through an online survey that targets all the registered logistics service companies in Egypt. The contribution of this research is presented in examining the interactions between the employees' engagement in LSPs in Egypt and the adoption of green logistics practices.

A study on using lean, agile, resilient and green index to assess the sustainability of Egyptian FMCGs supply chainsSustainable or green supply chain (GSC) management has gained significant importance over the past few years in Egypt as global awareness on preserving natural resources and the environment have been increasing. Sustainable operations of the supply chain became an essential requirement for Egyptian products to enter the European and the American markets which are the two major exports’ markets for Egypt. Therefore, this research would assess the leanness, agility, resilience and greenness of Egyptian fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) supply chain by the use of the lean, agile, resilient and green (LARG) index proposed by Azevedo et al. (2016). This research will use the case study approach in assessing the practices of three major FMCG companies’ supply chains. Conducting this assessment on a set of companies and to their supply chain will allow the researcher to benchmark the performance of the supply chain members; thus, highlighting the gaps and emphasising on the improvement opportunities.

Optimizing Supply Chain Dynamic, A Comparative Analysis of Kanban with Six Sigma in the Food Beverage IndustryTo enhance efficiency and reliability, this study investigates the benefits of implementing Kanban Lean Practice to support reconfigurable just-in-time (JIT) supply operations. JIT delivery guarantees lean production, which is essential to reduce inventory and capital hoarding, restricted only to raw materials. By reviewing relevant literature, this research project highlights the significance of establishing dependable and adaptable supply chains in the industry to cater to demand diversification while using various raw materials and components at the beginning of production flows. Although physical Kanban cards have limitations when applied to mass customization and the industrial era, Kanban is still a potent JIT strategy with visual indicators that can activate demand diversification. Therefore, The purpose of this paper is to evaluate how well Kanban systems can accommodate demand heterogeneity, resulting in more reliable supply chains and production lines.
