Abstract
In this work, we compare Normal, Lognormal, and Weibull models for lithium-ion cycle-life. Parameters are estimated by maximum likelihood, and goodness-of-fit is assessed using Kolmogorov–Smirnov, Cramér–von Mises, Anderson–Darling and Jarque–Bera standard tests. Additionally, probability-plot CDFs are used to visually support the analytical tests. Across datasets, Lognormal shows the best and most consistent distribution among all. The findings of this paper support a recent observation and make it more general.
