Abstract
Recently, smartphone applications have played a vital role in all aspects of life, and this, in turn, applies to the mobile payment system in Jordan, which can be used to save time, effort and money. Despite the great benefits that can be achieved by using digital payment systems, its acceptance by users in Jordan is still limited. Moreover, the issues related to digital payment systems have not been fundamentally addressed in the Jordanian context. Consequently, the proposed model will examine the factors that may affect customers’ acceptance of digital payment systems in Jordan such as cost, usefulness, social influence, credibility, information privacy, and ease of use.
