Abstract
This research paper analyzes the role of four factors, family dynamics, social support, resilience, and pets in the handling of grief within the Saudi Arabian setting. It focuses on the role each of these factors play towards grief, the negative effects, positive role, and even null effect. It goes into detail with help from supporting research about the importance of coping with grief and the need for support systems. Also, the benefit of each support system in coping with grief. This study seeks to investigate the effect of family, social aid, personal endurance, and emotional support from pets on the mental and emotional wellbeing of individuals experiencing grief in Saudi Arabia.
