Abstract
As Saudi Arabia prepares to host the FIFA World Cup, this stadium project in Jeddah addresses
the pressing need for a world-class sports venue while positioning the city as a prime
international events destination. Designed as a dynamic sports hub, it will host major matches,
local tournaments, and youth programs to nurture the next generation of Saudi football talent,
boosting tourism, economic growth, and cultural pride. Inspired by coral reefs and seashells, the
architecture conveys strength, shelter, and a deep connection to the sea through flowing water
features and a branching structural form. Guided by insights from Stadium 974 and Castelão
Arena, the design integrates efficient crowd circulation, sustainable strategies, and a strong
architectural identity, ensuring functionality, environmental responsibility, and enduring visual
impact.
