Abstract
The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in architectural design processes has contributed to optimized efficiency and precision; however, there is a wide consensus that AI has limitations when tackling social aspects. In Saudi Arabia, a significant portion of the population has special needs, particularly mobility impairments, and there is an increasing desire to promote inclusive, blended education. This chapter investigates the efficiency of integrating AI tools in the design process to address social challenges for high school students with mobility impairments in Jeddah. The methodology involves testing multiple ChatGPT-generated descriptives (prompts) inserted into Midjourney to produce AI-generated visual concepts. These inputs are based on specific social and accessibility challenges found in secondary schools. The findings provide an assessment and a framework to validate the ability of AI to generate socially considerate architectural designs, specifically within the context of mobility impairment and inclusive educational environments.
