Abstract
Heat transfer in porous media governs a wide range of physical and engineering processes where fluids flow through solid structures with interconnected pores. These include geothermal energy extraction, oil recovery, thermal insulation, and environmental remediation. The complexity of these systems arises from the interaction between two thermally distinct phases, solid and fluid, each with unique transport properties and behavior under heat and mass transfer.
