Abstract
Arabic calligraphy is one of the unique forms of artistic expression in Arab culture, which is usually presented at museums, where these museums frequently struggle with the challenge of appealing to various audiences, particularly younger generations, through traditional artistic genres. Despite its historic significance, Arabic calligraphy frequently fails to connect with modern audiences, particularly those of Generation Z. It is a challenging balance to keep the work’s authenticity while ensuring it remains relevant and appealing to today’s audience. So, there is a need to create a venue that generates an emotional connection between Arabic calligraphy and up-to-date technology. Through a literature review and case-study analysis, this chapter highlights the interior design standards of a museum that effortlessly blends history and new technology, immersing visitors in an unforgettable experience at the crossroads of art and artificial intelligence (AI). The qualitative approach is used through its tools to investigate the common interior aspects of similar venues, generating clear guidelines to illustrate the value of Arabic calligraphy and enhance the visitor experience in this type of museum.
