Abstract
The global healthcare supply chain (HSC) crisis is worsening, with many institutions running out of life- saving medications due to poor management systems. COVID- 19 exposed vulnerabilities in modern HSCs, leaving organizations struggling with loopholes. Potential threats stem from external environments such as regulations, geopolitics, weather, pandemics, and wars. To strengthen resilience, institutions are exploring digital technologies (DT) including IoT, AI, Blockchain, and machine learning. Saudi Arabia is gradually adopting DT, supported by policies to modernize healthcare by 2030, though organizational impacts remain debated. This case study of Waqayah Medical Group collected data from eight employees through semi- structured questionnaires and focus groups. Thematic analysis revealed moderate DT adoption, with notable challenges and limitations. Findings, applications, and conclusions are presented at the end.
