Abstract
This systematic literature review (SLR) focuses on the review of the risk and resilience perspectives in the field of operations and supply chain management (OSCM). Studies report that global disruptions, pandemics, and the like have become widespread. Hence, organizations should set constant risk-management goals and frameworks of resilience. Three key takeaways emerge from the conclusions: the use of anticipatory management practices, building adequate resilience structures, and the impact of more recent global challenges, such as COVID-19, on the supply chain. The profile in this article supports the notion of developing integrated approaches by looking at risk and resilience strategies altogether. At the same time, however, it emphasizes some crucial gaps, such as the lack of knowledge of geography or nature, and idiosyncratic features of different industries. The importance of ripple effects across global supply networks, the crucial role information processing capability plays in disruption response, and the rising integration of resilience with ethical and environmental issues are some of the key findings of the paper. Additionally, the research highlights how resilience capabilities mediate supply chain performance and how digital technologies and dynamic skills are essential for overcoming contemporary supply chain obstacles. By providing a thorough synthesis of resilience techniques and identifying directions for future study in digitization, viability, and cross-sector resilience planning, this article adds to current research. The subsequent research is necessary to investigate the role of digital technologies in fostering supply chain resilience and evaluate the long-term effects of ongoing crises. Keywords: Supply Chain Resilience, Risk Management, Supply Chain Viability, Ripple Effect, Digital Supply Chains, Adaptive Strategies, Supply Chain Sustainability
